Online Retail Assistants - Part Time

We have a unique opportunity for an 'Online Retail Assistant' to join our team. The workload in our Online Department changes day‑to‑day depending on the volume of customer orders — and that’s where you come in. You’ll be primarily based in Online, but you’ll also jump in to support other departments when needed. On quieter afternoons, for example, you might assist Grocery with stocking shelves or lend a hand wherever the store needs you most!

The hours & days for these positions are:

• Thursday to Saturday - 10:00am - 6:30pm (24 hours per week)

Primarily based in the online department your tasks could include:

• Assist in the day-to-day picking, packing and processing of all online orders.
• Ensure all customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently.
• Working with a large team of both full time and part time employees to ensure that our customers always have products available to purchase.
• Taking completed orders out to customers’ vehicles with accuracy, efficiency, and great service.

Though your tasks may also include work in other departments when required;

• Serving customers
• Helping with stock movement in the Inwards Goods Department using pallet jacks and forklifts
• Ensuring pricing and ticketing is correct
• Stocking shelves/displays in relevant Department - merchandising fruit, meat, hot chickens, bread, milk, ice cream, grocery items
• Collecting customer trolleys
