Online Shopper

At New World Havelock North, we are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and providing our community with quality products every day. We are currently seeking motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented Online Shoppers to join our growing team.

As an Online Shopper, you will play an important role in ensuring our customers receive their online orders accurately, on time, and to the highest standard. You will carefully select and pack products, ensuring every order reflects the quality and service New World is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer online orders within required timeframes
• Select fresh, high-quality products with care and attention to detail
• Ensure orders meet presentation and quality standards
• Meet productivity targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Assist customers and provide exceptional service when required
• Follow all food safety, health and safety, and store procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
• Assist with dispatching and loading customer orders when required

Skills & Experience

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and productivity
• Previous retail, supermarket, warehousing, or online shopping experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided

Essential Requirements

• Full, valid New Zealand Driver's Licence
• Able to commit to at least one weekend shift per week
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
• Physically fit
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
  
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
• Strong attention to accuracy and commitment to quality standards
