Operations Manager – PAK’nSAVE Papamoa, Papamoa Beach

To keep that experience fresh, we’re looking for a talented Operations Manager to join our senior leadership team and help us run a tight, efficient ship.

What’s the role all about?

As our Operation Manager, you will be a vital part of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the Store Owner and primary responsibility for keeping our front of house operations humming. You will support department managers, ensuring high operational and presentation standards are implemented across the store, while playing a key role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a leadership role that’s hands-on, high-impact, and core to the store’s success.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Driving day-to-day operational excellence across all departments
• Continually striving to exceed store standards
• Coaching and mentoring department managers to lead high-performing teams
• Ensuring stock control, supplier management, and replenishment activities are collaborative and engaging
• Supporting the execution of pricing, display, and promotional activities
• Maintaining a customer focused service culture by meeting our Fresh As, Sweet As, Cheap As, promise
• Supporting store wide compliance activities, especially in health & safety, and food safety
• Contributing to roster planning and team development across Departments

What we’re looking for:

• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced large FMCG supermarket environment
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills, fair and approachable
• Ability to execute plans with precision and adapt when things don’t go to plan
• A hands-on leader who builds team culture and inspires performance
• FMCG experience is a must; supermarket or fresh food experience is a big bonus
• Computer literacy, a good head for numbers, and solid admin skills
• Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of a 7 day, 24 hour operation.
