The primary role is to provide the highest standards of excellent customer service.

What you could be Assisting with:

• Serving customers appropriately as per company guidelines.
• Handling all money correctly ensuring the till balances daily.
• Packing all customers’ goods with care ensuring breakages and damage to perishable items is minimized and all ‘smelly’ items are separated from food items.

• Comply with all of PAK’nSAVE Westgate’s Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures.
• Able to show all customers your great welcoming smile even on the busiest days.
• You’ll be truly passionate about providing the best possible in-store customer experience to our customers.
• Ensuring all draws on the checkout are appropriately always stocked.
• Ensuing the floor around the checkout area is kept clear of obstructions and credits/non purchased items are processed in a timely manner.
• Undertaking additional housekeeping as required E.g. cleaning he countertop, sweeping the floors, dealing with spillages and breakages).
• Assisting in other areas of the store as required.

1. Checkout Assistant

Monday 17:00 - 22:00 (4.5 hours) 

Sunday 17:00 - 22:00 (4.5 hours)

2. Grocery Assistant

Thursday 16:00 - 22:00 (5.5 hours)

Friday 14:00 - 22:00 (7.5 hours)

Sunday 14:00 - 22:00 (7.5 hours)

3. Grocery Assistant

Monday 4:00 - 14:00 (9.5 hours)

Sunday 4:00 - 14:00 (9.5 hours)

4.Produce Assistant

Wednesday 16:00 - 22:00 (5.5 hours)

Sunday 15:00 - 22:00 (6.5 hours)

Our Checkout Assistants are customer focused, accurate and flexible team players. This role would be a great opportunity for students to get into a working environment and gain some great experience. The candidate will gain great experience in customer service and cash handling. We provide excellent training and great opportunity to progress in our business.
