Part Time Bakery Packer

New World Pioneer is a large format, locally owned and operated supermarket in Palmerston North.  We employ a team of 200+ who pride themselves on delivering exceptional Customer Service.  Our Bakery department is very progressive and we encourage and support our team to continually up-skill through instore training and apprenticeships.

To continue to offer our customers the best we are looking for a part time bakery packer.

Tasks for the Bakery Packer roles include:

• Assisting the Bakery team with packaging, pricing and presenting our Bakery products
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Bakery department
• Maintaining the implementation of our Food and Health and Safety requirements
• Cabinet merchandising products are stocked and attractively displayed

The successful applicant will have:

• Organisational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Self-motivation and a positive, can-do attitude
• Attention to detail
• Dedication to customers
• The legal right to work in New Zealand

Availability over the Christmas and New Year period is a must.

The hours for the role are:

Sunday: 4.00am – 12.30pm

Monday: 4.00am – 12.30pm

Tuesday: 5.00am – 1.30pm

No experience needed, as full training will be provided.
