Part-time Checkout Supervisors – Pak’NSave Highland Park

We’re excited to announce that Pak’nSave Highland Park will be joining the community February 2025! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors to the East Auckland community!

We’re currently seeking Checkout Supervisors to join the team. You’ll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community.

Role commencing Feb 2025.

Mix of hours: 15 to 37.5 per week.

The Role:

  • Provide outstanding customer service 
  • Keep on top of customer flow and ensuring appropriate numbers of checkouts are always open.
  • Train new checkout operators as required 
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints appropriately and always ensuring effective interactions with customers.
  • Ensure high presentation standards for the checkout department & store 
  • Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best results

What are we looking for: 

  • Proven supervisory experience in a customer service role.
  • Valid liquor license / managers certificate to manage alcohol sales.
  • Reliable, honest and be a good team player 
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality 
  • Confidence and maturity to work unassisted at times 
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
