PART TIME Online Delivery Driver - New World Point Chevalier

At New World Point Chevalier, we’re passionate about delivering a fresh, friendly, and convenient shopping experience for our community — right to their doorstep! We’re looking for TWO reliable and customer-focused Online Delivery Drivers to join our busy Online team. You must have the current right to work in New Zealand.

Shift 1: Monday 10:30am-7pm, Friday/Saturday & Sunday 6:30am-3pm

Shift 2: Tuesday 6:30am-3pm, Wednesday & Sunday 10:30am-7pm

The Role

We’re after a motivated, safety-conscious team player with a positive attitude who enjoys being out on the road and providing excellent customer service. As an Online Delivery Driver, you’ll:

• Deliver online shopping orders to customers safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Check deliveries against the manifest to ensure correct quantity and quality of goods.
• Load and unload vehicles following Standard Operating Procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Manage perishable and temperature-controlled items appropriately.
• Conduct ID checks for restricted goods in line with store policy.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure staging areas and equipment are kept tidy and well-presented.
• Support the Online team with picking, packing, and processing orders when required.
• Communicate any delivery or customer issues to the Online Champion and Store Management.
• Uphold all food safety, health & safety, and compliance procedures.
• Represent New World Point Chevalier positively when engaging with customers and the community.

What we’re looking for:

• A full, clean New Zealand Driver’s Licence (essential).
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
• Physically fit and able to complete the requirements of the role (lifting, loading, etc.).
• Great communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends if required.
• Customer service or delivery experience preferred, but full training will be provided.
