PART TIME Storeroom Assistant - New World Point Chevalier

At New World Point Chevalier, we’re all about creating a friendly and fresh shopping experience for our community. To keep delivering that, we’re on the lookout for ONE part-time Storeroom Assistant to join our team.

 

Hours: Monday 2pm–8pm, Saturday 10am–6:30pm & Sunday 10am-4pm

 

The Role

We’re looking for motivated, reliable team players with a positive attitude. As a Storeroom Assistant, you’ll:

• Unload trucks and delivery vans efficiently and safely.
• Check and mark off all deliveries, ensuring accuracy against invoices and pick slips.
• Process perishable deliveries in line with company policy.
• Rotate and store stock correctly to maintain quality and compliance.
• Keep storeroom and outside areas clean, tidy, and free of obstructions.
• Assist with paperwork, credits, and other store areas as needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and food safety standards.

A forklift license is preferred, but not essential – training can be provided for the right person.

• Physically fit, with the ability to complete moderate to heavy lifting.
• Commitment to safe working practices and compliance procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
