Part time Supermarket Assistant

Part time positions available

Departments:

• Produce- Tuesday pm, Sunday AM
• Deli- Monday pm, Saturday am

Role

• Follow instructions of the Department Manager, Assistant Manager and Supervisors.
• Contribute effectively as a member of the team.
• Customer-focused, all interactions dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in the housekeeping of the department when required.
• Enhance the image of the department by the implementation of agreed standards of display and presentation of stock.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed on time, accurately and delivered to the right person.
• Adhere to all House Rules including uniform and attendance.
• Maintains Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance
• To help manage the storage of stock in correct locations ensuring ease of picking and replenishment.

• Previous experience is ideal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical
•  tasks.
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• 2 references to be provided on application.
• Applicants must already live in New Zealand and have appropriate documentation to start work in NZ.
• Visas expiry dates must have more than 6 months
