Pie Maker

At Mill Street Pak’nSave we pride ourselves on delivering high quality products for our customers whilst providing a great shopping experience. We are looking for a Pie Maker with experience that can complement an already highly productive bakery team.

In this role, you will be committed to making and baking quality products to meet our customer’s expectations. Reporting to the bakery manager you will be part of a high performing team helping to ensure the department runs smoothly.

Previous experience in a supermarket bakery would be an advantage but not essential.

Duties include:

 

• Making pies from start to finish
• Preparing and working with dough
• Preparing and portioning fillings
• Assembling pies accurately and efficiently
• Baking and monitoring finished product
• Maintaining consistent quality across production runs
• Working efficiently during busy production periods
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and food-safe

 

 

• Following all food safety and health and safety procedures
  

Key attributes required:

• Trade qualification or proven experience
• High standard of customer service 
• Excellent communicator and a real team player as well as be able to work unsupervised
• Strong attention to detail
• Someone who can demonstrate a high standard of work and comply with our food standards and health and safety programme

Days and hours: Sunday - Thursday. 8am - 5:30pm
