Price Integrity Manager - Pak’n Save Petone

Pak’n save Petone are looking for someone with price integrity experience to oversee our price integrity in store.

All applicants must have the following skills and experience:

OPERATIONAL  

  • Ensure defined business and specific department targets are achieved through effective management of the department and price integrity programme.
  • Ensure operational delivery standards are met or exceeded.
  •  Ensure Foodstuffs PAK n SAVE promotional, and pricing programmes are adopted so that the store presents a competitive and brand consistent offer to the market at all times. ·
  •  Ensure all advertising and ticketing is printed and displayed in time for commencement of the mailer / promotion.
  • Print and review Price Variance reports. Provide Item Movement Reports to all Department Managers. ·
  • Complete weekly transmission price changes to tills plus any manual price changes and loading new product lines. ·
  • Ensure the whole store is legally compliant and up to date from a pricing perspective through the management of an ongoing programme of scanning all aisles and areas of the store on a cyclical basis. ·
  •  Liaise with Department Managers around pricing issues ensuring price integrity across all departments. ·
  • Ensure all price changes (mark ups / mark downs) are actioned appropriately. ·
  • Ensure price integrity of all new products and ranges. ·
  • Handle Customer enquiries complaints appropriately and ensure effective interactions with customers at all times.
FINANCIAL
  • Ensure costs are kept within the parameters set out by Owner Operator.
  •  Achieve cost goals through monitoring department systems in an effective and timely manner.
  • Manage assigned activities, promotions and initiatives within plan, budget and resource deployment delegations.
COMPLIANCE
  • Have an understanding of health and safety management responsibilities relative to the position.
  • Ensuring all methods to identify and manage safety hazards are fully adhered to.
  • Following health and safety and food safety policies.
CUSTOMER FOCUS MEETING CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS
  • Brings everything back to the customer, identifying and focusing upon their needs & expectations.
  • Actively sets, monitors and maintains consistently high standards of customer service. Continuously makes improvements for customers, seeking input from staff and customers to do so.
  • Creates an environment where customers want to shop.
  • Looks at and responds to feedback from all sources.
  •  Adopts a “service” mentality at all times regardless of their position or experience, genuinely enthusiastic about the difference service makes to the customer and success of the store.
ESSENTIAL
  • Computer literate · Retail experience to a supervisory level · Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
  • Good command of written / spoken English · Intermediate - advanced math's skills.
  • FMCG experience · Food retail experience.
  • Experience with price integrity or compliance.
  • Ability to lead your team and make sure they understand the importance of price integrity in store.
  • Staff rostering - making sure there are staff available at all times.
