Produce 2IC - NW Stonefields

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Produce 2IC to join our team at New World Stonefields. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their retail career and play a key role in one our store's most vibrant departments.

Working closely with the Produce Manager, you'll help lead the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring our customers are presented with a fresh, abundant, and visually appealing produce offering every day. You'll support the development of the team, maintain high operational standards, and take ownership of the department when the Produce Manager is away.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting and leading the Produce team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensuring displays are fresh, full, and visually appealing at all times.
• Maintaining high standards of product quality, availability, and presentation.
• Assisting with ordering, stock control, waste management, and inventory processes.
• Coaching, training, and developing team members to achieve their best.
• Ensuring compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and store procedures.
• Working alongside store leadership to drive sales, promotions, and department performance.
• Taking responsibility for the department in the Produce Manager's absence.

• Previous supermarket or produce experience (leadership experience is advantageous).

The details

This is a full-time position working 42.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 1:00PM - 10:00PM
