Produce 2IC / Supervisor– New World Paremata

New World Paremata is looking for a Produce 2IC/ Supervisor to join our produce department. This role is ideal for someone who has fresh food experience in supermarkets and who wants to develop their career in the supermarket industry.

No produce experience? No problem. The number 1 thing we look for is a great attitude and commitment. So, if you have these attributes, we can teach you everything you need to know to be a successful produce 2IC/Supervisor.  

About the role:

• 06:00-16:00, 4 days/week incl one weekend day

• Ensure shelves are fully stocked with a great range of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the day.
• Inspect incoming produce for quality and freshness, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
• Arrange displays attractively to showcase seasonal items and promotions.

What we are looking for:

• Supermarket experience – fresh food or produce experience advantageous
• Customer and people focused
• Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role
• Results driven and good attention to detail
