Are you passionate about fresh produce and excellent customer service? New World Opotiki is looking for a motivated and passionate Produce 2IC to support our Produce Manager and help deliver the freshest fruits and vegetables to our community.

What you'll do:

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the produce department.
• Lead and motivate the produce team to ensure top quality and presentation.
• Manage stock ordering, rotation, and inventory control.
• Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Supporting the Produce Manager to achieve or exceed sales and gross profit goals.
• Ensuring department compliance with company policies and food safety standards.
• Handling customer questions and complaints professionally to ensure great service.
• Acting as the department lead when the Produce Manager is unavailable.
