Produce Assistant Manager

NEW WORLD HOBSONVILLE is looking for a reliable Produce Assistant Manager to join our produce team.

Our store is growing quickly and as a result team members are being moved to other roles throughout the store, therefore this new opportunity has arisen.

The role is full time (4.5 days) and will work very closely with our experienced Produce manager and the Fresh Foods manager.

Evening and weekend work will be required.

You will have great attention to detail, enjoy customer service, people and working within a close-knit team.

You will be experienced in all elements of produce and additional training will be provided for ordering, managing stock, leading other team members, planning weekend promotions, and working with other departments to meet our store's purpose which is be our community's shopping experience of choice.

Previous experience with Produce will be an advantage as you will be serving customers and guiding them on seasonal produce. Full training will be provided for the right person.

We will require someone who is physically fit and able to move quickly and efficiently around the Store and who is able to work in an unsupervised environment.

This role would suit a person who has previously been a supervisor and looking for the next step in their career.
