Produce Assistant
Join Our Team as a Produce Storeroom Assistant!
We’re looking for a motivated, team-oriented individual to join our busy and vibrant team here at Brookfield New World.
In this role, you’ll report to the Produce Manager and help ensure the produce department is well-presented, clean, and running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include maintaining merchandising standards, following daily cleaning routines, keeping the back storeroom organised, trimming and presenting fresh fruit and vegetables, and ensuring every customer enjoys an outstanding shopping experience.
This is a hands-on, physical position that involves regular heavy lifting, stacking, and moving stock throughout the day. A good level of physical fitness is essential, as you’ll be on your feet and active for most of your shift.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong communication skills, a high standard of personal presentation, and a reliable, honest work ethic. We value attitude and enthusiasm above all, and we’re happy to provide full training to the right candidate.
This is a full-time position working 30+ hours per week, including one weekend day. Early starts are essential.
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required. A current forklift licence is essential.
