Produce Assistant

We are looking for a confident and reliable Produce Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this essential role, you will create fresh produce platters for catering orders and manage the ordering of fresh salads. You will also play a key part in maintaining an organised produce area, contributing to the smooth operation of the department.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will handle cleaning duties and engage proactively with our valued customers. This position is physically demanding, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active. You should feel comfortable lifting heavier items and performing repetitive tasks with ease. We seek someone who understands the importance of a positive attitude and strong teamwork and is ready to bring these qualities to the role.

What we are looking for

  • Computer Literacy/ SAP knowledge desired but not essential
  • An eye for detail
  • Possess a strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
  • Flexible and committed

Position

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 5.30 am—1.30 pm (37.5 hrs). If you are enthusiastic about working with fresh produce and enjoy hands-on tasks, we would love to hear from you!
