Produce Assistant
PAK’nSAVE Whanganui is looking for a motivated and reliable Produce Assistant to join our busy Produce team.
If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in presentation, and like working with fresh food, this could be the role for you.
About the Role
As a Produce Assistant, you will help keep our Produce Department fresh, full, and looking great for our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Stocking and rotating fruit and vegetables
- Maintaining high presentation standards across displays
- Providing friendly customer service and assisting with enquiries
- Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
- Restocking in chilled/frozen foods during parts of the day.
This is a physical role, with regular lifting required.

- Reliable and able to work unsupervised
- Good customer service skills
- Physically fit (able to lift up to 20kg)
- Attention to detail and pride in your work

Monday 5am - 2.30pm
Friday 5am - 2pm
Sunday 5am - 2pm
