Produce Manager

Are you passionate about fresh food and great customer service? We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Produce Manager to lead our produce department and ensure our customers enjoy the freshest fruits and vegetables every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the produce team to deliver excellent service and presentation.
• Ensure stock levels, quality, and freshness meet company standards.
• Monitor and manage department budgets, wastage, and ordering.
• Train and develop team members to maintain high performance.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with store leadership to drive sales and promotions.

About You:

• Previous experience in produce or supermarket retail (management experience preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for fresh food and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.

The role is for 45 hours per week, hours to be discussed at interview. You must be physically fit as there is manual handling involved in the role. You must also be comfortable being in a chiller.
