Produce Manager

We are seeking excellent candidates for leading our Produce department at Papamoa Pak n’ Save. We are on a continuous journey from good to great, and we want another partner to join our Waka and deliver for our customers.

You will be planning, leading and delivering our Sweet as, Fresh as, Cheap as, customer promise in a dynamic $15M t/o business.

We provide our managers with a large level of autonomy, based on our trust in your ability to deliver on our customer promises, and provide solid commercials. It is vital then, that you have relevant, current, & successful Produce Management experience, our Produce business is simply too important to our customers to not hit the ground running.

Standard requirements for the hands-on role include

• Proven prior experience in Produce Management 
• Have good computer skills, Fresh Buy & SAP preferred
• Physically fit, with an excellent work ethic
• Have great organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail
• A forklift license is beneficial but not absolutely necessary as we are willing to train the right person
• Ensuring an excellent customer offer remains available 7 days.
• Adhering to the store Food Safety and Health & Safety Policies
• Stock purchase negotiation and volume
• Proven experience in training, leading and developing engaged Teams.
