Produce Manager
Do you have a passion for fresh produce and a proven ability to lead a team? If so, we’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Produce Manager to join our Pak’nSave Thames team.
About the role:
As our Produce Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the department and ensure everything runs smoothly day-to-day. You’ll lead from the front, coaching, mentoring and motivating your team to deliver a fresh, full and appealing department our customers love.
- Leading the day-to-day running of our busy Produce department
- Managing ordering and stock levels through in-store systems
- Controlling department costs in line with store expectations
- Ensuring the right product range for our customers
- Keeping shelves full, displays sharp, and quality top-notch
- Managing ordering, stock levels, and minimising waste
- Coaching and supporting your team to bring their best every day
- Ensuring food safety and Health & Safety standards are met
- Creating a great shopping experience for our customers
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a management or 2IC role within retail
- Strong understanding of seasonal produce and category management
- Previous produce department experience is highly desirable
- Experience using SAP systems
- Someone who can handle the pace and keep things running smoothly
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Availability:
- You’ll need to be available to work at least one weekend day
