Produce Supervisor

Pak’n Save Wairau | North Shore

Sunday to Thursday | 12:30pm – 10:30pm

Are you ready to step into a leadership role in New Zealand’s largest produce department?

We’re looking for a driven, hands-on Produce Supervisor to join our team at Pak’n Save Wairau, leading from the front in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You’ll be working closely with the Produce Manager to keep the department running smoothly — and ensure our customers always experience top-quality fresh produce.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and managing a team during afternoon/evening shifts
  • Overseeing stock rotation, quality control, and presentation standards
  • Supporting the ordering and inventory process
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to grow their skills
  • Ensuring health & safety and food handling standards are always met
  • Delivering an excellent customer experience
  • Taking ownership of the department when the Manager is away

About you:

  • Proven leadership experience in a retail or produce environment
  • A strong team player who can lead, train, and inspire others
  • Calm under pressure with great problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit and happy to be on your feet all shift
  • High attention to detail with a passion for fresh food
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

The role offers:

  • A full-time position (Sunday to Thursday, 12:30pm to 10:30pm)
  • The opportunity to work in New Zealand’s biggest produce department
  • A supportive team and store culture
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Long-term career progression opportunities within the Foodstuffs network

At Pak’n Save Wairau, we’re committed to growing our people, just like we grow our produce — with care, attention, and the right environment.
