The Role

As a Qualified Butcher, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional fresh meat offer for our customers. You'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department while maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, food safety, and customer satisfaction.

 Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and producing high-quality cuts of meat
• Merchandising and displaying products to a high standard
• Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene practices
• Assisting with stock control and minimizing waste
• Contributing to a positive team culture
• Delivering outstanding service to our customers

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A recognized Butchery qualification (Foodstuffs Butchery Apprenticeship or equivalent)
• Proven experience working as a butcher in a retail or commercial environment
• A genuine passion for the trade and pride in your workmanship
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness and the ability to meet the demands of the role
• A commitment to food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
