Qualified Butcher - New World Point Chevalier 

We’re excited to announce that New World Point Chevalier will be joining the community later this year! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across grocery, butchery, deli, bakery, produce and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors to the Point Chev community 

With out opening date set for September 2025, we’re seeking qualified Butchers to join the team. You’ll play a key part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an awesome shopping experience for our community. 

The Role: 

• Ensure the meat cases and freezers are appropriately stocked and maintained.  
• Correctly & efficiently slice and cut all meat whilst reducing wastage and maximising GP.  
• Assist in the traying up of meat as required.  
• Maintain daily operation in collaboration with the Butchery Manager.   
• Ensure all customer special orders are prepared to agreed timeframes.    
• Follow H&S, Food Safety, and store procedures.     
• Ensure high presentation standards for the butchery department & store.

 What we’re looking for: 

• Qualified Butcher and/or equivalent experience.
• Reliable, honest and be a good team player.  
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.   
• Confidence & maturity to work unassisted at times.
