Royal Oak Seafood Assistant Manager

PAK'nSAVE Royal Oak is seeking an experienced, passionate Seafood 2IC to join our busy Seafood department.

Your day to day will be:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Managing Ordering / Stocktaking / Shrinkage in SAP
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Directing and supervising the team
• Rostering
• Ensuring that the Seafood serve over is well stocked and that appearance standards are upheld.
• Ensuring the correct prices, dates, and standards are upheld while packaging and labelling products.
• Undertaking appropriate Seafood preparation specific tasks (Full training provided) 
• Cleaning in accordance with our food safety control plan

What we need from you:

• Experience in a Supermarket or Retail environment
• A bubbly positive team player
• Good punctuality and attendance, you will be an integral part of the team!
• Confident to manage staff and rosters.
• Flexibility and commitment to work various shift throughout the week.
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ensure that all relevant Food Safety and OSH standards are always followed.
• Physically fit and high level of personal presentation
• High integrity, reliability, honesty, and self-motivation
• Good understanding of English and ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Experience with SAP Knowledge is preferred.

• Applicants must hold New Zealand Citizenship, New Zealand Permanent residency, or a valid New Zealand work permit.

Days and hours of work will be Tuesday-Saturday 5am-2:30pm.
