We’re on the hunt for a Sales Support superstar to join our New Plymouth team at Gilmours Central!
At Gilmours, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional service and being the go-to foodservice provider for Kiwi businesses. We’re now looking for a Sales Support team member to join our Taranaki crew – someone who thrives on efficiency, customer service, and teamwork.
The Role:
As a Sales Support representative, you’ll play a key role in helping our Account Managers keep everything running smoothly. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where every day is different. You’ll support our sales team with admin, logistics, and customer service, helping us grow and deliver consistently for our customers.
Your day might include:
- Coordinating with the warehouse and transport teams to ensure accurate, timely deliveries
- Assisting Account Managers with admin tasks and maintaining Salesforce
- Managing assigned customer accounts
- Helping customers with orders, queries, and product information
- Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Supporting promotional activities and sales strategy
- Keeping customer records updated and contributing to sales reporting

What are we looking for:
- Someone with awesome communication and people skills – you’ll be working with customers and internal teams daily
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or account management (foodservice or FMCG experience is a big plus)
- Great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
- Strong administrative and computer skills – you’ll be handling data, systems (like SAP), and reporting
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce would be a bonus)
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to step up when needed
- A full NZ driver licence is preferred
