Seafood Assistant. – Full time

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with their seafood selections, providing expert advice and recommendations.
• Ensure the seafood display is well-stocked, fresh, and visually appealing.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the seafood department.
• Handle seafood products with care, including filleting, scaling, and packaging.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a seafood or grocery environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of different types of seafood and cooking methods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Love working with fish.
• Able to work in a cold condition.
• Have the right to work in New Zealand.

Days and Hours of work:

Wednesday 5.00am – 2pm, Thursday 5.00am – 2.00pm, Friday 5.00am – 2.00pm, Saturday 5.00am – 2.00pm.
