Seafood Supervisor
We’reexcited to announce that New World Te Atatū will be opening its doors August 2026, offering a new full-service modern supermarketand creating 90 new roles for the Peninsula.
We're looking for an experienced Seafood Supervisor to join our brand-new team. You'll work closely with our seafood manager to create a vibrant and customer-focused department. If you're passionate about fresh food, exceptional service and have previous experience working in seafood, this could be a great opportunity for you!
- Part-time - 30 hours
- One weekend day work required
Te Tūranga – About the role
- Help with the day-to-day running of our seafood department.
- Ensure seafood case is merchandised to the highest standard with fresh and quality product.
- Manage stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, listening to what the community wants and delivering on it.
- Maintain high food safety and health & safety standards.
- Seafood preparation and cutting.

- Experience in seafood with great product knowledge.
- Previous supermarket experience.
- A passion for delivering quality and freshness
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety standards
- A proactive, hands-on attitude
