We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Service Deli Assistant to join our busy Service Deli team.

If you have a passion for food, enjoy providing excellent customer service, and take pride in maintaining high standards, we would love to hear from you. This is a hands-on role involving food preparation, cooking, merchandising, record keeping, and serving customers in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present a range of fresh and ready-to-eat deli products.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli items.
• Ensure the Service Deli is well stocked, clean, and presented to a high standard at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product selections.
• Complete food safety, temperature, cleaning, and production records accurately.
• Follow all Food Safety, Health & Safety, and store procedures.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for food and customer service.
• Confidence handling fresh food products, including raw meat, seafood, and shellfish.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding food safety and compliance requirements.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting boxes, handling stock, and being on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility and reliability, with a commitment to early starts.

Days and Hours of Work

• Monday: 5:00am - 2:00pm
• Tuesday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
• Wednesday: 5:00am - 3:00pm
• Thursday: 5:00am - 3:00pm
• Sunday: 5:00am - 2:00pm
