Are you passionate about fresh, high-quality food and delivering outstanding customer service? We’re looking for a dedicated and capable Deli Supervisor to join our team. In this leadership position, you’ll oversee all aspects of our deli’s daily operations and inspire your team to achieve excellence.

You’ll manage food preparation, inventory, and staff supervision, while fostering a positive workplace culture. Your leadership will ensure high standards and motivate your team to deliver excellent results.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate all daily operations of the Deli department
• Ensure high-quality food production and presentation standards
• Train, motivate, and supervise deli staff, encouraging teamwork and ongoing development
• Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring optimal freshness and compliance
• Champion health and safety standards, ensuring compliance and a safe environment for both staff and customers
• Engage with customers, anticipate their needs, and build lasting relationships that keep them coming back

About you

• Supervisory experience in a similar role within the fresh foods industry
• At least 2 years of experience working in a similar retail environment
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise in deli production and products
• Be highly organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exhibit outstanding customer service skills and a keen understanding of customer needs.
• Be adaptable and calm under pressure, always ready to support the wider team and connect with customers.

What we offer

This is a full-time supervisor position (37.5 hours per week). Shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Sunday from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm. The pay range is $25–$28 per hour and depends on experience.
