Store Assistant-Part time

New World Pioneer is a large, locally owned and operated supermarket in Palmerston North. With a team that pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards across every area of our store.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Store Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role working across our Grocery, Chilled, Frozen, and Liquor departments, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

 

About the Role

As a Store Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping our shelves full, departments well presented, and products readily available for our customers.

 

You'll work across a range of our scannable departments, including Grocery, Chilled, Frozen, and Liquor, depending on where support is needed each day. Your responsibilities will include replenishing stock, merchandising displays, rotating stock, and maintaining high presentation standards while delivering excellent customer service.

This role suits someone who enjoys physical work, works efficiently, and is happy to jump in wherever they're needed.

Hours of Work

• Monday: 5:00am – 1:30pm
• Tuesday: 5:00am – 1:30pm
• Thursday: 5:00am – 1:30pm
