About the role:

We're looking for a motivated, reliable and customer-focused Store Assistant to join our friendly team at Four Square Aramoho.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across all areas of the store to help deliver a great shopping experience for our customers. No two days are the same, and you'll play an important part in keeping the store running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Operating the checkout and assisting customers
• Filling, rotating and merchandising stock
• Maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
• Assisting in the kitchen when required, including preparing our popular chicken & chips 🍗🍟
• Helping with general store tasks as required
• Maintaining high food safety and health & safety standards
• Supporting your teammates and helping where needed

What we're looking for:

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Friendly with excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and handling moderate lifting as part of the role
• Previous retail, supermarket or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential – full training will be provided.

Hours:

• Approximately 30 hours per week
• A mixture of weekday, evening and weekend shifts
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), with availability for both weekend days preferred
• Opportunity for additional shifts to cover leave and busy periods
