Store Buyer

New World Te Kuiti is on the lookout for a capable and motived Store Buyer to support our Dry Department's day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Dry Goods Manager across Grocery, Chilled, Frozen, GM and Liquor operations
• Ordering, stock control, promotional execution, and range management
• Maintain strong stock availability, tidy shelves, and engaging displays
• Ensure gap buster is done daily and store presentation standards are met 

   

   

• Previous Buying experience is required (grocery/GM/chilled/frozen/liquor)
• Strong organisation, communication, and merchandising skill
• Experience using SAP for ordering and stock management & display planning is required 
• A team player with a can-do attitude and leadership potential
• LCQ certification or forklift licence is a bonus (not essential)
