Store Manager - 4SQ Red Beach

The Four Square is an amazing brand and we are on the look out for a talented person who wants to progress in their career.

We are seeking applicants for a store manager. You will be part of a team of managers with the responsibility of running multiple departments.

This role would be an excellent opportunity for a result driven, self-motivated individual who is looking to further your career in the FMCG industry by being a store manager or someone who has aspirations of being an owner operator through the Four Square ownership programme.

The primary purpose of this position is to

• Lead the procurement in multiple departments
• Assist and support the Owner Operator in carrying out the retail operations duties and when required be the Acting Manager in his absence.
• Lead the overall retail service delivery, merchandise activities, sales, cost management and productivity
• Duty manager, ensure the safe sale and supply of alcohol to our community 
• Act as the escalation point for complex issues
• Seeks out continuous opportunities to improve customer experience

You will have a strong background in retail management with a focus on people, standards, and exceptional customer service. You will also be a positive role model, reliable, flexible, and driven. In fact, you are someone who leads by example and enjoys a hands-on role.

• Has a minimum 2-4 years experience leading teams in a retail environment
• Demonstrated coaching skills to develop and mentor future leaders
• Strong decision-making capability in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Highly passionate about continuous improvements
• Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities
• Process driven
• Has excellent communication skills
• Proven visual merchandising skills
• Demonstrated conflict and problem resolution abilities
• Always leads by example
• Is in good health and physically fit
