Store Person


We have an opportunity for a reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a focus on getting the job done to join our storeroom/inwards goods team as a Storeroom Assistant.

Purpose of the role:

Assist with the receipting, unloading trucks, checking, and storage of all stock coming into store through the backdoor, and to assist with processing credits.

 About the role and responsibilities:

 

  • Unloading trucks
  • Marking off all products that come through the back door ensuring the quantities received match the pick slips/invoices.
  • Processing all necessary paperwork on timely manner
  • Follow Health and Safety, Food Safety Policy and compliance procedures in the store
  • Assist with processing of credits/or short deliveries
  • Keep storeroom area clean and tidy as you go
 About you, the right candidate for this role must:

 

 

  • Has an understanding of SAP or similar software
  • Have a valid Forklift Licence
  • Good work ethics and good team player
  • Reliable, well organised, and good communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of this role
  • Have storeroom experience within the supermarket industry or similar
  • Have the right to work in New Zealand
  • Available to work one day in the weekend.
  • Can be flexible in their working hours
