Storeroom Assistant - NW Stonefields

We’re looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Storeroom Assistant. This is an important role within our store, helping ensure products are received, organised, and available for our team and customers each day. As our Storeroom Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily operation of our busy storeroom, and ensuring stock is processed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Unloading trucks and delivery vehicles
• Checking and receipting all incoming stock, ensuring quantities match invoices and delivery documentation
• Correctly placing stock in designated locations while maintaining appropriate stock rotation practices
• Keeping the storeroom clear, safe, and free from rubbish or obstructions
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised Inwards Goods area, including general housekeeping duties such as sweeping floors, cleaning shelves, and responding to spills or breakages
• Operating equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts where required
• Completing all paperwork and processing requirements accurately and efficiently
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment
• Supporting other departments and assisting throughout the store as needed

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a Storeperson or in a similar role is preferred
• Current forklift licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and manual tasks

Position Details:

Permanent Full-Time
Monday to Friday | 4:00am – 1:00pm
