Supermarket Assistant | Bakery | Full Time

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Supermarket Assistant to help pack and present the bread and bakery products we make here at New World Churton Park.

You will help get our freshly baked products ready for customers, keeping our displays full, tidy and looking their best. If you enjoy practical work, take pride in presentation and like being part of a busy team, this could be a great fit.

Your regular roster

• Monday: 6am to 2pm
• Tuesday: 6am to 2pm
• Wednesday: 6am to 2pm
• Thursday: 6am to 2pm
• Sunday: 6am to 2pm

Friday and Saturday off.

What you will be doing

• Packing, labelling and displaying bakery products
• Replenishing displays and checking dates and product quality
• Helping customers with their enquiries
• Keeping the department clean, organised and following food safety procedures
• Supporting the bakery team with daily tasks

What we are looking for

You will be reliable, have an eye for detail and enjoy working at a steady pace to get things done. You will also be comfortable working on your feet and helping customers.

Previous supermarket or food handling experience would be helpful, but this is not a baker position and baking experience is not required. We can teach you the role if you bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
