Supermarket Assistant Butchery Part Time

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Supermarket Assistant to help pack, label and display products in our Butchery department.

You will work alongside our butchers, helping keep the shelves stocked and well presented, and making sure customers can find what they need.

Your regular roster

• Monday: 7am to 2pm
• Friday: 7am to 2pm
• Saturday: 7am to 2pm

You must be available for all three shifts.

What you will be doing

• Packing, weighing and labelling meat products
• Keeping displays stocked, tidy and well presented
• Checking dates and rotating stock
• Helping customers with enquiries
• Cleaning equipment and work areas
• Following food safety and health and safety procedures

What we are looking for

You will be reliable, have good attention to detail and be comfortable handling raw meat and working in a chilled environment. You enjoy practical work, work well with others and take pride in keeping things clean and organised.

Previous supermarket or food handling experience would be helpful, but butchery experience is not required. Training will be provided.
