Supermarket Assistant - Butchery Team - Full Time

Since opening in October 2022, our stunning store has become a much-loved part of the magical Mangawhai community. We're proud to offer a modern, full-service supermarket experience in a beautiful new store, with a focus on quality, service, and creating a great place to shop.

We're on the lookout for a full time assistantto join our awesome Butchery team!

The Role

You'll help deliver an exceptional butchery experience by:

• Keeping meat cases and freezers well-stocked and presented
• Slicing, cutting, and preparing meat
• Assisting with meat preparation and traying as required
• Working alongside the Butchery Manager to support daily operations
• Creating an attractive, fresh, customer-focused serve-over experience
• Preparing customer orders accurately and on time
• Following Health & Safety, Food Safety, and store procedures
• Maintaining high presentation standards across the department
• Approx 45 hours per week - 5am starts - must love early mornings!

• Knife / Kitchen skills and experience preferred
• Passion for quality products and customer service
• Pride in maintaining a fresh, creative and well-presented serve-over
• Dedicated, reliable, honest, and a strong team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently when required
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellence every day
