New World Churton Park is looking for Supermarket Assistants to join our team.

We have both full time and part time opportunities available. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being active, working with people and being part of a busy supermarket environment.

 

About the role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will play an important part in helping the store run well and making sure customers have a great shopping experience.

 

Duties may include:

 

• Filling shelves and merchandising stock
• Assisting customers with enquiries
• Rotating stock and checking dates
• Maintaining presentation and cleanliness standards
• Supporting online shopping, checkout or service areas as needed
• Working as part of the team to keep the store tidy, full and ready for trade

What we are looking for

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• A reliable and punctual approach
• Good customer service skills
• The ability to work well in a team
• A willingness to do physical work and stay active
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends if required

Previous supermarket or retail experience is helpful, but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person.
