We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Supermarket Assistant to join our team at New World Paremata. As a supermarket assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our store and delivering top-notch service to our valued customers.

About the role:

• Assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
• Stocking shelves, rotating products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Providing product information, recommendations, and assistance to customers.
• Following safety and hygiene protocols at all times to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirement of the role as some lifting required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Shift includes weekday mornings & evenings, as well as a weekend shift.
