Supermarket Assistant

New World Hastings is a large format Supermarket in Hawkes Bay. We are locally owned and operated and part of the Foodstuffs North Island Cooperative. New World Hastings services over 20,000 customers weekly with a full range of groceries. Our customer promises are Fair Value, Inspiring Solutions and Awesome Experience.

We have an exciting Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities at New World Hastings as a Supermarket Assistant.

If you have the right can do attitude, then we can provide the necessary training for you to kick start your career. 

Key Requirements for the role include.

• A "can do" attitude.
• Physically fit able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to work well with the team.
• Good Command of written and spoken English.
• Proven customer service skills.
• FMCG, fresh food or food retail experience preferred but not essential.
  

• A welcoming work environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
• Staff discount after 3 months of work.
