Supermarket Assistant

New World Feilding is looking for a cheerful, keen, physically fit and reliable person to join our grocery team or our grocery / chilled / frozen team on a full / part- time basis

You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality produce and service we offer our customers here at New World.

Your main duties will include:

• Replenishing stock
• Building displays
• Helping customers
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times

Here's what you'll need:

• To be physically fit – you’ll be on your feet all day, lifting, and moving
• You will be able to regularly lift heavy boxes (10kg+)
• Fast on your feet you'll need to move around the store quickly to keep up
• Customer service driven – you’ll spend a lot of time helping our customers
• A team player, available to assist with the demands of a small team
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be reliable, we are a close team and you’ll be missed if you’re not here!
• Have a good work ethic
• Be able to work well under pressure
