Warehouse Team Member – Graveyard Shift

Gilmours Tauranga, a leading wholesale food and beverage distributor, is looking for a Warehouse Team Member to join our graveyard shift team. If you’re experienced manually loading trucks, driving forklift, perhaps in the food industry, and love being part of a hardworking team, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

This is a physically demanding role. Your main tasks will include picking and packing orders, loading the delivery trucks, driving forklifts and keeping the workspace safe and organised. You’ll need to be fit, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Shift Hours: Sunday to Thursday: Sunday 18:00 – 2:30 and Monday to Thursday 21:00 to 05:30

What You’ll Do

• Accurately pick and pack products.
  
• Load delivery trucks manually and using a forklift.
  
• Move pallets, restock shelves, and maintain a tidy workspace.
  
• Operate a reach forklift.
  
• Follow health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
  
• Work closely with the team to keep operations running smoothly.

   

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working as loader, picker and packer.
  
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg).
  
• A forklift license and experience driving forklift.
  
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  
• Availability to work the Graveyard shift in a full-time capacity (Sunday to Thursday).
  
• A positive attitude and a focus on getting the job done right.
