Bakery Assistant

PAK’nSAVE Silverdale is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our busy team full-time. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in producing quality food, and love early starts, this could be the role for you!

As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a key part in ensuring our bakery department is well-stocked with fresh, high-quality products every day. You’ll support the bakery team in packaging and presenting a wide range of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing, pricing, and displaying products attractively

• Ensuring bakery shelves are fully stocked and presented to a high standard

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment

• Providing friendly and helpful customer service when required

• Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays

• Good attention to detail and time management skills
  

• Physically fit (lifting, standing, and working in a fast-paced environment)

• Previous bakery or food handling experience is an advantage but not essential
  

• A team player who is reliable and willing to learn
