Experienced Merchandising Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and commercially minded Merchandising Manager to join our team!
You will take ownership of the merchandising and day-to-day operations across our Grocery, General Merchandise, Chilled, Frozen, Storeroom and Liquor departments. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading people and takes pride in delivering an outstanding shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop your teams to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain exceptional merchandising, presentation, cleanliness and stock availability standards.
- Drive sales, gross profit and wage performance.
- Oversee stock replenishment, promotional execution and supplier relationships.
- Ensure excellent customer service across all departments.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and food safety compliance.
- Monitor team performance, training and development.
About You
- Previous retail or supermarket management experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Commercially focused with an understanding of sales, profit and wage control.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A hands-on approach with a passion for merchandising and customer service.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
