Baker Pak'n Save Papamoa

We have opportunities for people who are passionate about baking, already in the retail industry or willing to learn, and love to work in a busy, customer focused environment. Flexibility to work changing hours is important. Current role (which is subject to change) is:

Role 1: Friday to Monday 3.00am to 12.30pm

We are seeking an exceptional Baker, with the passion to produce the finest quality bakery products. You will:

1. Be able to make and bake White, Whole meal, Grain, Rye and Sweet doughs.
2. Be able to make and bake Sponge cakes, Madeira cakes, fruit cakes etc.
3. Be able to make and bake slices and biscuits and scones
4. Be able to apply finishing (icing and fillings) to cake products.
5. Understand Food Safety, and Health & Safety principles.
6. Be able to bake frozen products such as Croissants and Danish Pastry.
7. Be willing to work shifts

OR a bakery assistant looking to step up to an apprenticeship, after 6-12 months of proving yourself.
