Butchery Assistant

We have permanent, full-time position available for the right applicant to join our growing Butchery Department.

*We also have two permanent, part-time position available across Friday and Saturday, with each role totaling 16 hours p/w. When applying, please indicate whether you are interested in full-time employment, part-time or would like to be considered for either position.

The primary responsibilities of the Butchery Assistant are to:

• Ensure all product displayed is correctly trayed, wrapped and labelled
• Present and merchandise to ensure that a maximum range and sufficient quantity of product is available at all times
• Assisting in ensuring all deliveries are unloaded in a timely manner, reducing wastage
• Assisting in ensuring all appropriate cleaning and stocktaking is completed
• Assisting with any customer enquiries

The position is as follows;

6.00am - 2.30pm, Sunday - Thursday (Friday & Saturday off)

The successful candidate/s will;

• Be physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role
• Have a customer-focused mindset, focusing on their needs and expectations 
• Set and maintain a high standard of customer service
• Actively contribute to the team environment
• Have good command of written and spoken English
• Have good basic math skills
