Checkout Opportunities - Permanent and Fixed Term available

About the role...

You will play a key part in

• leading and supporting the checkout team during shifts
• role model a consistently high level of customer service
• overseeing cash handling with both opening and end-of-day procedures
• operating checkout tills and assisting customers through self-checkout - help pack their bags and pop their bags into trolley's for them
• supporting the rest of the checkout team
• maintaining a clean, organised and efficient checkout area
• helping resolve customer queries
• ability and keenness to obtain managers certificate

Who we are looking for

• Previous retail experience
• previous supervisory experience or proven readiness to step up
• a passion for customer service
• a positive, can-do attitude
• strong communication and leadership skills
• ability to stay calm on those busy days

Both roles require availability to work at least one weekend day and either opening (6.45am start) or closing (9pm finish) shifts and are 40 hours/week.
