DUTY MANAGER /CHECKOUT SUPERVISOR

Then we want to hear from you - you could be our new Duty Manager/Checkout Supervisor!
This role is dynamic and, helps us to provide consistently fresh and appealing shopping experiences for all customers and the smooth running of the store. In Checkout, as a Supervisor its fast paced, customer focused and the final piece of our customers shopping journey.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Duty Managers Certificate (LCQ)
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Computer literate
- Be available to work one day/night in the weekend (this is non-negotiable)
- Have a flair to seeing more than just what is in front of you - you have an eye for detail (retail is detail after all!).
- Have an understanding of what Food Safety in a commercial environment is and what Health and Safety means in a Supermarket.
- You will have had previous experience in leading a team and supervising (but also, you know how to muck in to get the work done - we all do the work here).
- You are physically fit - there is some lifting involved (15kg).
- Be legally able to work in New Zealand.
